RAJBAG: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Hand Fighters Sports and Cultural Club organized a meaningful celebration to raise awareness about environmental conservation. The event, held at Rajbag tarir by distributing plants door-to-door and also as part of the outreach, the club also visited the local primary school, where they engaged with children and teachers, spreading the message of sustainability and environmental care. Prashant Pagi (secretary) Mitesh Pagi ,Pritam Pagi, Ratnakar Dhuri (former Chairperson and ExCouncillor) Vijaya Madgaonkar, (Ex-Councillor) Mangesh Pagi,(former OBC Chairperson, Canacona), Ramanath Pagi,sushant pagi ,Shital Pagi and Sushma Metri. While the program was underway, Club President Vaishnav Pednekar spoke about the importance of nature and planting trees, highlighting the need to protect the environment and the many benefits of greenery for future generations. Together, with the collective efforts of the community, guests, and volunteers, the Hand Fighters Sports and Cultural Club continues to promote green values and positive action for a sustainable future.
