CANACONA: The Harwale Rudreshwar Yatra will teach our new generation how to protect Indian culture and unity and help in strengthening integrity by organizing this Rath Yatra, Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar state after Rudreshwar Rath Yatra is welcomed in Canacona on Saturday.
Speaking further Ramesh Tawadkar said that the new generation will learn about the preservation of Indian culture through the Rudreshwar Yatra at Harwale and the organization of this Rath Yatra will strengthen unity and integrity. The Rath Yatra was earlier welcomed at Karmalghat.
And after offering floral garland to the lord Rudreshwar at Karmalghat, Tawadkar garlanded the Rath Yatra when it reached near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue near Chaudi KLTC Stand. CMC Chairperson Sara Sambha Desai local councillor Ramakant Naik Gaonkar garlanded the idol and sought the blessings of the lord.
On this occasion, councillors Dhiraj Naik Gaonkar, Amita Pagi, Neetu Desai, Shubham Komarpant, Sarpanch (Loliem-Polem) Nisha Chari, Deputy Sarpanch Chandrakant Sudhir, panch Sachin Naik, Poinguinim VP Panch Praveer Bhandari, and many others were present.
In this Rath Yatra, Conveneor Janardan Bhandari felicitated Tawadkar by presenting a shawl and Shrifal. CCP Chairperson Sara, councillors Ramakant Naik Gaonkar, Dheeraj Naik Gaonkar, Amita Pagi, Neetu Desai, Shubham Komarpat, ex- councillors Dilip Kenkre, Vishal Desai were also felicitated. Venkataray Naik gave information about this yatra/pilgrimage on the occasion.
