PANAJI: Goa Forward Party (GFP) Vice-President Durgadas Kamat today said that the High Court order making COVID-19 certificate compulsory for entering is a win for all Goans from adamant BJP government led by CM Pramod Sawant.
“All together three petitions were filed which was clubbed by the HC and the hearing took place for nearly two hours, Goans have won today with this order,” said Kamat
He said that people were demanding lockdown and RT-PCR since many days but the government did not pay heed to them.
“ We had prayed with the HC to make it mandatory for any passenger traveling into the State of Goa to have a negative RTPCR Certificate procured not later than 48 hours before travel.” he added
Kamat said that HC has directed the respondents to ensure adequate and steady supply of oxygen in all Covid wards and Hospitals in the State of Goa.
