PERNEM: A lady and her 15 months old girl child died on the spot when the car in which they were travelling collided against a truck Torsem-Pernem.
The occupants (Family) were travelling from Pune to Goa when the accident happened. Information reveals that it was a head-on collision between a car and truck.
As per information, the other three occupants of the car were seriously injured in the accident and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The car was completely damaged due to the accident, and Fire and Emergency Services had to be roped in to fish out the occupants from the driving and side seat.
However, till the filing of this report, there was no information on the truck driver.
