CHINCHINIM: A health camp focusing on community healthcare, particularly women’s well-being, was organised at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chinchinim with active participation from local residents.
Smt. Ranjana Pai, Chairperson of the Goa State Women’s Commission, attended the camp as chief guest and encouraged efforts aimed at improving access to healthcare services. Smt. Anita Thorat, Vice President of South Goa District BJP, also graced the occasion and extended her support to the initiative.
Medical consultations and health check-ups were conducted during the camp, with many residents availing the services. Organisers said the initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and ensure early detection of health issues.
Appreciation was extended to Dr. Nixon, Health Officer of PHC Chinchinim, along with the medical and support staff, for organising and conducting the camp smoothly.
Members of Velim BJP Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha also participated and assisted in coordinating the programme. Organisers said such initiatives help strengthen community healthcare and promote awareness about regular health check-ups.
