Margao: The video which went viral today morning shows the hardships & pains faced by patients & their relatives at South Goa District Hospital due to collapse of administration. I once again request Health Minister Vishwajit Rane to show some kindness towards infants to senior citizens & give them relief from suffering, stated Youth Leader Prabhav Naik.
He was reacting to the monday mess & chaos at South Goa District Hospital due to long queues for registration by patients and their relatives.
Government can explore the online registration wherein a token with time can be given to patients for consultations with doctors. This will help in reducing the crowd. I will meet the Superitendent to undertand the system, Prabhav Naik said.
I felt totally hurt to see senior citizens and parents holding infacts made to stand in long queues with absolutely no system in place. It looked like a bus stand scene, said Prabhav Naik.
This is definitely not the way to treat patients and their relatives. Government needs to be sensitive towards people who are in pain due to various types of ailments. Government’s responsibility is to give them comforts, claimed Prabhav Naik.
I hope Health Minister Vishwajit Rane will take pro-active steps to end the sufferings of people. We have already submitted a memorandum to him on 27th August and are thankful to him for visiting South Goa District Hospital. We hope the hospital will soon be made functional as tertiary hospital, stated Prabhav Naik.
