PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that his department is working on ways to integrate all health centres to create an ecosystem to provide comprehensive healthcare services.

He further said that Goa government will soon sign an MOU with the Government of India for AI, which will take healthcare in the state of Goa to new heights.
“We have been taking little, but big steps to ensure our people receive the best health care facilities,” he added
Rane said that they are constantly striving to ensure the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for an affordable and high-quality healthcare services are implemented.
He also expressed gratitude to Union Mos Rajeev Chandrasekhar for initiating MoU with the Government of India for AI, in our efforts to transform healthcare system in Goa while stating that it is always a pleasure to engage & seek his guidance on innovative steps for the state.
Rane said that Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) has been entrusted with the responsibility to look after the upkeep of the South district hospital, including the non-functioning lifts.
“The government is taking one step at a time to put up the best medical facilities at the South Goa district hospital. The cardiac super specialty facility is getting ready at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim,” minister said
“We have ordered three cath labs for the super specialty. Once this facility is put in place at the GMC, the government will get to work to set up a cardiac facility at the South Goa district hospital,” he said.
