Health Minister Vishwajit Rane appreciated the speedy decision making capabilities of outgoing Secretary Nila Mohanan that helped the State to fight COVID pandemic.
Mohanan, IAS, transfered as Deputy Secretary in the Central Government. She was Secretary Health and Education in the Goa Government.
“An excellent upright officer Nila Mohanan, who held several positions in the Department of the state of Goa, is all set to take charge as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training in Delhi. The State of Goa will miss her presence,” Rane tweeted.
“Your (Mohanan) speedy decision-making capabilities have helped the state in our fight against the pandemic. Thank you for your contributions that have proved beneficial,” he tweeted further.
The Minister said that Mohanan has always been of great support to him, the Department and the people of the state of Goa.
“We were very fortunate to have an extremely proactive and dedicated officer like her who has been of great help to the state during these unprecedented times of COVID-19,” he added
” I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her dedicated service to the state amid the pandemic and otherwise,” the Minister tweeted.
