CHICALIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane visited Chicalim PHC and reviewed its facilities and ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services to the people.
Visited PHC Chicalim to interact with the doctors and staff, assess the facilities and ensure the availability of essential medicines.
“I also took the opportunity to listen to their concerns and understand the challenges they face. Deputy Director of Directorate of Health Services – Goa, Dr. Rupa Naik, and Health Officer, Dr. Sujata, accompanied me during the visit,” said Rane
He further said that his focus is driven by a deep commitment to providing the best healthcare services to our people.
“We are actively working to strengthen the system and address the needs of the society with compassion and determination,” he added
Rane also conducted an inspection at Chicalim PHC after discussion with Minister and MLA Dabolim Constituency Mauvin Godinho to review its facilities and ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services to the people.
Deputy Director of Directorate of Health Services – Goa, Dr Rupa Naik, and Health Officer, Dr Sujata, were also present during the visit.
“There were a few areas that need urgent attention which we will address to at the earliest like additional nurses, technician etc,” the minister said emphasizing the need for excellence in public health infrastructure.
“I reaffirm the government’s commitment to providing the best medical care for all, with a strong focus on accessibility, efficiency and patient well-being,” Vishwajit said
He also said that he was determined to ensure the finest healthcare facilities for my people.
“The DHS, Goa is working tirelessly, thinking beyond conventional boundaries, to ensure that every individual receives the best healthcare services they deserve,” he added
