PANAJI: In a major accident, one person died while 2 other persons have been injured in a fatal accident between ambulance and truck at Bambolim.
The accident took place just a Km away from the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC).
According to the information from locals and eyewitnesses, after the incident it almost took another 15 to 20 minutes for another ambulance to reach the spot
As per information, the 52-year-old heart patient from Cumbharjua who was being taken to the hospital in the ambulance died on the spot after receiving head injuries.
Two other persons who were accompanying him have also been injured in the accident.
The front part of the ambulance has been completely crashed due to the impact of the collision.
