DABOLIM: Heavy and incessant rains disrupted flight operations at the Goa International Airport in Dabolim on Tuesday.
Goa Airport director George Varghese confirmed that two flights were affected due to the weather conditions. “Two flights have been diverted today amidst the rains. A Poona-Goa flight was diverted to Hyderabad, while a Mumbai-Goa flight was diverted to Belgaum. The Mumbai-Goa flight has since returned to Dabolim, and the other flight from Hyderabad is also expected to arrive back shortly,” he said.
