PILERENE: A potentially catastrophic incident was averted at Pearl PEC Ventures Private Limited when a heavy truck, bearing registration number GJ12AW4135, caught fire due to engine overheating. Prompt action by the factory workers prevented any major damage or loss of life.
The incident took place at approximately 8:30 pm on [22,may ] when the Lauri heavy truck, used for goods transportation, suddenly burst into flames. It is believed that the engine’s overheating caused the ignition. The quick-thinking factory workers sprung into action, evacuating the truck and taking immediate measures to douse the fire before the arrival of fire fighters.
Despite their heroic efforts, the driver of the truck sustained minor injuries in the process. However, the prompt response of the workers, the flames were brought under control, minimizing the potential danger.
Firefighters, who were engaged in another rescue operation at a different location, arrived at the scene by 9:00 pm.
