TALEIGAO: The State government constituted High Level Enquiry Committee has sought authentic information and documents related to the alleged matter of paper leakage by a faculty member at the Goa University.
The Committee seeks any authentic information and documents pertaining to the paper leakage at the school of Physics and Applied Sciences, Goa University.
The information should be submitted by an affidavit in a sealed cover to Dr. Gervasio S. F. L. Mendes, Liaisoning Officer, Office of Additional Director, Directorate of Higher Education, Goa Education Complex, Alto Porvorim either personally or by speed post on or before April 1, 2025
Government had constituted a High Level Enquiry Committee to conduct an enquiry in the alleged matter of paper leakage at the school of Physics and Applied Sciences of Goa University. The Committee will be chaired by Justice (Retd.) R. M. S. Khandeparkar.
The suspended assistant professor Dr. Pranav Naik of the School of Physical and Applied Sciences has been charged by the Agassaim police with leaking an exam paper to a female student, according to the fact-finding committee’s report and an official complaint from Goa University.
In order to take proper action against the accused, the Varsity has also chosen to submit the fact-finding committee report to the Executive Council, which serves as the Disciplinary Authority. This week is the scheduled meeting of the Executive Council.
