PANAJI: A weather warning has been issued for the state of Goa by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), indicating that on May 1st and 2, 2024, hot and humid conditions will prevail in isolated areas.
Nonetheless, generally pleasant weather is predicted to continue, with moderate temperatures in both the districts of North and South Goa.
There have been no heatwaves in the last 24 hours, and the state’s highest temperature for the next seven days will be between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius in the North and South Goa districts. The highest temperature will not significantly change over the next five days.
Over the next seven days, no appreciable change in wind speed or relative humidity is anticipated. For the next seven days, the heat index is predicted to be below 40 degrees Celsius.
From May 1st to May 7th, 2024, both districts should have dry weather. On May 1st and 2, there is probably going to be a haze in the morning in certain isolated areas.
According to the IMD Panaji, North and South Goa districts won’t see any significant changes in the maximum temperature over the next five days.
