FATORDA: Fatorda Police have launched an investigation into a house burglary in which cash, gold ornaments, and LPG cylinders worth around ₹8.6 lakh were stolen.
According to the complaint lodged by Prayank Matiman, a resident of Fatorda and native of Uttar Pradesh, the theft occurred between October 19, 2025, at 10:00 am and November 3, 2025, at about 5:30 pm.
The complainant stated that unknown culprits broke open the lock of the main gate and latch of the main door to gain entry into the house.
The burglars allegedly decamped with two LPG cylinders, ₹50,000 in cash, and gold ornaments worth approximately ₹8,00,000, bringing the total loss to around ₹8.6 lakh.
PSI Ramrai Naik of Fatorda Police Station is conducting further investigation into the case.
