PONDA: Huge tree was uprooted at Kaswada Talaualim on house Praveen Govind Naik damaging three other houses besides two parked vehicles.
The incident took place at around 3.30 pm on Sunday. The front portion of the house of Praveen Naik was badly damaged.
The refrigerator, kitchen equipment, and toilet roof were all damaged around three lakh loss.
Sarpanch Vasundhara Sawant inspected the houses and assured required help.
The fire personnel said immediately after the call they rushed and rescued two persons trapped in a room.
The locals said the tree was age-old and they also decided to cut it however there was an objection from the tree owner.
