PANAJI: BJP State President Sadanand Tanawade today said that he will speak with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant about the job scam allegations.
“I have not yet spoken to CM Sawant in this regard; I will try and speak to him. CM Sawant is on a 3 day visit to Varanasi. Also, I will speak to the concerned minister and MLA in this regard,” said Tanavade.
He further said that this matter is of the state government and that the party has no say.
“BJP does not depend on the division of votes to win the polls. When we face elections, we think that it is BJP versus the rest of others,” he added.
Tanavade said the electoral results in the past suggested that BJP emerges victorious notwithstanding all opposition parties contesting against the saffron party.
“We have seen all the parties coming together for the Zilla Panchayat elections in Goa. We won 33 out of 50 seats,” he said.
