New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its pitch and outfield ratings for the recently concluded Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy, a gripping five-Test series between India and England that ended 2–2.
Among the five venues, only the opening Test at Headingley, Leeds, received a ‘Very Good’ rating for both pitch and outfield. The remaining three completed Tests — at Edgbaston, Lord’s, and Old Trafford — were rated ‘Satisfactory’ for the pitch but ‘Very Good’ for the outfield. The Manchester Test was the lone draw of the series, with all others going into the final day.

Shubman Gill was the star of the series, amassing 754 runs in 10 innings at an average of 75.40, including four centuries, to claim the Player of the Series award for India. For England, Harry Brook topped the charts with 481 runs at an average of 53, earning their Player of the Series title.
The campaign ended on a sour note for Rishabh Pant, who suffered a fractured right foot during the fourth Test in Manchester. The injury rules him out of the Asia Cup as he begins weeks of rehabilitation.
