In a significant milestone for cricket in Pakistan, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the commencement of ticket sales for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, marking the country’s first global cricket tournament since 1996. Despite the ongoing stadium renovation work, the tournament is set to kick off on February 19 and will be hosted across Pakistan and Dubai, with India’s matches scheduled to take place in Dubai. The final match is slated for March 9.
The ticket sales for the Pakistan leg of the tournament will begin on January 28, with matches to be held in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Although the stadium renovation work is still in progress, with a January 30 deadline for the handover of the stadiums to the ICC, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reassured that the tournament will proceed as planned.
The minimum ticket price for the standard seats has been set at PKR 1,000, while premium seating will start from PKR 1,500. Fans are required to register on the ICC’s official website to purchase these tickets. Tickets for the final, scheduled for March 9, will be available for purchase following the conclusion of the first semifinal in Dubai.
ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya emphasized the significance of this event, stating, “This is a significant moment for cricket in Pakistan, hosting their first global cricket tournament since 1996.” The tournament promises to be an exciting spectacle, featuring the world’s best teams competing for the coveted trophy.
