VASCO: Indian Coast Guard Goa Headquarters will be conducting Yoga at Velsao Beach with a trained Yoga instructor on 30th May 2022 at 6.30 am.
Indian Coast Guard, along with Roquezinho DSouza of Velsao Village, will conduct the event and around 500 personnel at Velsao Beach are likely to remain present.
As per the available information, the Indian Coast guard has requested that families at Velsao may be encouraged to join the yoga event, and appropriate strength of participants may be intimated to the headquarters by 26th May 2022 for necessary refreshment arrangements.
They have also requested that the following facilities at Velsao may be provided for smooth conduct of the event that is a clean designated area for accommodating 500 Personnel, Dedicated Vehicle Parking Space, Space to Place Portable Toilet arrangements, Provision for putting up a Public Address system with an electrical connection, Intimation of local Police.
Indian Coast guards have further stated that they look forward to good participation from panchayat and neighbouring communities to spread awareness and benefits of a healthy lifestyle by the practice of yoga and how important is physical and mental fitness for today’s generation.
