The Department of Urban Development (Municipal Administration) has instructed all Goan municipalities to take prompt action against illegal buildings in response to a ruling from the High Court.
The High Court has underlined that in order to stop illegal building operations, regulations must be strictly followed.
Local governments have been directed to make certain that all unauthorized buildings within their authority are located and that the proper legal action is taken. The action is a part of continuous efforts to prevent building law infractions and preserve the integrity of urban planning.
The Department has emphasized how crucial it is to follow the court’s ruling and make sure municipalities take swift action to resolve the matter.
Upholding legal norms in urban development and protecting the state’s infrastructure are the goals of the High Court’s directive.
