DHARBANDORA: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has filed a police complaint against two persons for allegedly carrying out illegal plotting, construction, and hill cutting at Pilliem in Dharbandora.
According to the complaint lodged by Sarino Fernandes from the Office of the Deputy Town Planner, Quepem-Sanguem-Dharbandora, the accused, identified as Nandini Kane alias Nandini Sudath Mandrenkar and Sudath Ramchandra Shenvi Mandrenkar, carried out illegal plotting of land, construction of residential houses/bungalows, compound wall, and a store room in an orchard zone. The accused are also alleged to have undertaken illegal hill cutting, all without obtaining prior permission from the Chief Town Planner (Land Use).
The violations are said to be in contravention of Sections 16-A and 17-18 of the TCP Act. Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Anjali Dhulapkar of Ponda Police Station.
