VERNA: Verna Police have registered a case of illegal land filling in Arossim village of Mormugao Taluka following a complaint from the Town and Country Planning Department.
The complaint was filed by Yatish Kothambikar, Draftsman Grade II, Office of the Deputy Town Planner, Mormugao Taluka, Town and Country Planning Department, Vasco.
According to the complaint, on 14th January 2026 at TNK in village Arossim, the accused, identified as Ravi Kholi, a resident of Arossim, Falvaddo, Mormugao, allegedly carried out land filling activities on the property without obtaining the necessary approvals and permissions from the Chief Town and Country Planner.
An offence has been registered at Verna Police Station, and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Carey Fernandes.
