PANAJI:Light to moderate thunderstorms are very likely at a few places over North Goa and South Goa districts stated a nowcast issued by IMD Goa.
Thunderstorm clouds are present over talukas of Dharbandora, Ponda, Bicholim, the nowcast adds. “Rain is likely to be accompanied with lightning and thunder and winds reaching speed of 25-30kmph.
Clouds are likely to move in west-south west direction. Talukas of Mormugao, Salcette,Parts of Tiswadi,Pernem are also likely to experience thundershowers,” the nowcast adds. Meanwhile, Dharbandora and Ponda areas witnessed unseasonal rain with gusty winds today afternoon.
