PANAJI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa issued a Yellow Alert for Goa, predicting light to moderate rainfall over the next two days.
Before and after the rainfall, there was high humidity and dry weather in a number of areas of the state.
A cyclonic circulation that was over the southeast Arabian Sea off the coast of Kerala has now moved to the Lakshadweep region and the nearby southeast Arabian Sea, up to 3.1 km above sea level, according to the IMD, and is affecting the current weather.
In spite of this, Goa nevertheless saw morning and evening haze or fog that was shallow to moderate.
