New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday underscored that the past 11 years have transformed India into not only the world’s fastest-growing major economy but also a prominent global voice on critical fronts such as climate action and digital innovation. Highlighting the completion of the first year of his third term, Modi credited this rapid, people-centric progress to “the blessings and collective participation of 140 crore Indians,” driven by the guiding mantra “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”.
A key message he shared emphasized that 60 per cent of his current Union ministers come from SC, ST, and OBC communities—the highest ever representation of these groups in the Cabinet—signaling a firm commitment to social justice even as opposition parties attempt to paint a different picture. Modi’s X post (formerly Twitter) further stated that his administration has delivered “path-breaking changes with speed, scale and sensitivity,” focusing on inclusive economic growth and social upliftment.
He added, “We are proud of our collective success but at the same time, we look ahead with hope, confidence and a renewed resolve to build a Viksit Bharat,” using the hashtag #11YearOfSeva to highlight the nation’s onward journey. Modi also shared extensive data reflecting social-welfare milestones achieved under his leadership: over 81 crore people now receive free food grains; more than 15 crore households gained access to tap water; four crore homes have been built; 12 crore toilets constructed; nearly 68 lakh street vendors received loans; 52.5 crore loans extended to small entrepreneurs; and 20 crore women received cash assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He further encouraged citizens to explore India’s transformation through the NaMo App, which features interactive infographics, videos, quizzes, and detailed sector-wise achievements—summarizing the government’s efforts to blend technology with transparency. This narrative aligns with his broader effort to embed “Vikasvaad”—the politics of development—firmly into the mainstream, ensuring that policy and discourse revolve around growth and good governance.
