MAINA: In a major breakthrough, Maina Curtorim Police have busted an interstate mobile phone robbery racket with the arrest of two individuals from Davorlim. Authorities recovered 15 stolen mobile phones during the operation.
According to PI Maina Curtorim, the accused were involved in stealing mobile phones from the Maina Curtorim and Calangute areas. Investigations revealed that the stolen devices were later being sold in Karnataka.
The two suspects are currently in police custody, and further investigations are ongoing to identify any additional accomplices and recover more stolen property.
This operation highlights the growing efforts of Goa Police to crack down on organized mobile thefts in the state.
