IIT-Roorkee has turned down proposal by the state Public Works Department (PWD) to carry out detailed investigation of the Kala Academy stage roof collapse incident to ascertain the exact cause of incident, PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral informed the House.
He said, the dept has now written to IIT Delhi and is awaiting response from the premier institute. He also said that preparation of the whitepaper work is on.
