In a shocking development, the proprietor of Krishni Jewelers Samir Walke has been stabbed to death by unknown assailants in the afternoon.
Preliminary inquiries revealed that the 35-year old Walke was alone at his shop at Shop No 2, Costa Building, Asconia D`costa Road, Margao, Behind Grace Church, Margao.
It is said that the assailants had come with an intention of robbery.
Sources said the mother of Walke is a BJP karyakarta.
Multiple injuries have been found on Walke’s body, police sources said.
