CANACONA: A 25 year old Jharkhand native, grievously injured in a 2-wheeler self-accident a month ago at Agonda succumbed at GMC Bambolim on Thursday.
According to Canacona police, GMC Bambolim patient Sandip Roy, 25 resident of Agonda and native of Jharkhand who was undergoing treatment at GMC, Bambolim after he had met with a self-accident on 09th May 2025) at Agonda has expired during treatment.
Roy had sustained injuries in the self-accident that took place on 09/05/2025 at Agonda and later on he was admitted in GMC Bambolim for medical treatment and while undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim he succumbed to injuries.
The body is handed over to the family member of the deceased for disposal as per religious rites after the post-mortem examination is conducted. The unnatural death (UD) is registered under section 194 BNSS 2023 and further enquiry is conducted by PSI Doifonde of Canacona Police Station.
