MANDREM: MGP’s Mandrem candidate Jit Mandrem has taken the initiative to start a 20-bedded COVID Care centre in Mandrem.
Arolkar has taken a private hotel and converted the same for people of his constituency.
Speaking to Goemkarponn, Arolkar said, “Today I inspected proposed site for COVID isolation Center at Mandrem. The 20-room proposed facility will be made available to the COVID infected people from Mandrem constituency”.
He said the isolation center will provide admitted patients with meals, medicine and accommodation free of cost.
“Also a dedicated team of doctors and nurses will monitor each patient on daily basis. 24/7 ambulance will be stationed at the said center in case of emergency,” he says.
He added that today it is important to work together to fight this pandemic.
“Till today we don’t have a dedicated center in Pernem because of which people have to face a lot of inconvenience. Udargat-Mandrem as a responsible organisation stands with each and every person during these difficult times,” he added.
