Panaji: The Minister for Public Works Department (PWD), Shri Digambar Kamat, launched the e-sign module for Works Management under the PWD today at a function held at Altinho, Panaji, as part of the department’s e-governance initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kamat welcomed the PWD’s steps towards digitisation, saying the initiative will support the vision of a ‘Vikasit’ and ‘Swayampurna Goem’. He added that digitisation is crucial for infrastructure development, a key measure of government progress, and that e-modules promote transparency in governance.
The function was attended by Principal Chief Engineer Uttam Parsekar, PWD engineers, and other officials.
This initiative marks another step in Goa’s ongoing efforts to embrace digital governance in public infrastructure management.
