CANACONA: Feeling the heat of the intensity in which the differences that broke between villagers and Forest department leading to registration of a FIR against 3 persons, Canacona MLA and Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar brokered a meeting to address the wildlife area construction concerns with the Khotigao Panchayat.
Tawadkar in-fact on Thursday held a meeting with the Forest department officials (ACF & DCF) alongwith Khotigao Village Panchayat Sarpanch Smt. Vrunda Velip, Panchayat members, and a few local residents engaged all sundry in discussions to find a mutually beneficial resolution regarding recent construction issues in the wildlife area. The outcome of the meeting is unknown, but the Speaker raising the construction concerns sought a mutual solution to the tangle.
