Vasco: A day after major joint operation by Goa Police and arrests in kidnapping case, the 12 accused in the Afghani and Punjabi person kidnapping case were taken into 12 days police custody on Sunday.
The 13th person from this gang being a juvenile was sent to protective home on Saturday.
Meanwhile, when contacted South Goa SP Pankaj Kumar Singh informed that police are investigating whether these people were involved in any other such cases in Goa. as well whether they have more network.
Porvorim police have also registered a similar case on them regarding kidnapping of a Punjabi citizen, informed Mr. Singh
