PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has said that the Goa Medical College (GMC) has nothing to do with the kidnapping Incident and had been falsely reported.
The statements by HM Rane came after Leader of Opposition (LoP) Digambar Kamat tweeted saying that even the hospitals are safe.
“I would like to bring to attention that the kidnapping incident reported at GMC has been incorrectly reported. The child was neither a patient at GMC nor it has anything to do with the security lapse,” said Rane in a tweet
He further said that it was baseless allegation and the facts of the incident are totally different.
In a day light incident, a one month old baby boy was kidnapped from Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) today.
The Agassaim police had registered a case of kidnapping against a unknown women, who is accused of kidnapping the infant.
