Panaji: With focus on environmental responsibility and community engagement, Kingfisher Premium Packaged Drinking Water by United Breweries Limited (UBL) organized a Beach Clean-Up Drive on January 1, 2024, at North Goa’s popular Baga Beach. This initiative marks a commitment to kickstart the new year on a positive and sustainable note.
Deeply rooted in Goa’s vibrant culture, the brand recognizes the significance of giving back to the community that has been a steadfast companion in sharing good times. The beach cleaning drive reflects the brand’s dedication to environmental sustainability and underscores the importance of preserving the natural beauty of Goa’s iconic beaches.
Monojit Mukherjee, Director Corporate Affairs at United Breweries Limited, expressed enthusiasm on the occasion stating, “By actively organizing initiatives like ‘Do Good Times’, we showcase our commitment to the well-being of the Goan community that has been an integral part of our journey. We are thankful to Department of Tourism, Goa, and Karnataka Commercial and Industrial Corporation for their support and helping make this a success.”
The event witnessed the active participation of UBL employees, local, and community members and tourists visiting the beach. Over 100 volunteers came together to make a positive impact at the start of the new year.
