Goa’s Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has rolled out new air-conditioned sleeper and luxury bus services to enhance comfort and convenience on key interstate routes. The daily AC sleeper buses operate on routes linking Goa with major cities like Bengaluru, Pune, Shirdi, and Hyderabad, providing improved travel options for commuters starting from April 2025.
KTCL now offers a daily AC sleeper bus service on the Mapusa-Bengaluru route, with buses departing Mapusa at 5:30 pm and returning from Bengaluru at 7:45 pm. The route covers Panaji, Margao, and Ponda via Anmod, Dharwad, and Hubballi. Similarly, an AC sleeper service runs daily between Margao and Pune-Shirdi, departing Margao at 5 pm and returning from Shirdi at 2 pm, stopping at Panaji and Mapusa along the way.
In addition, a new Goa-Hyderabad AC sleeper route has been introduced, servicing Margao, Panaji, Mapusa, and towns like Sankhali and Belgavi. Buses leave Goa at 4 pm with the return journey from Hyderabad scheduled at 5 pm.
Plans are underway to resume the AC sleeper bus service on the Goa-Mumbai (Dhobitalao) route, with departures from Margao, Panaji, and Mapusa via Zarap and Chiplun, returning from Mumbai Central and Dhobitalao terminals.
Addressing commuter demand, KTCL is also launching new luxury non-AC buses featuring push-back seats in a 2+2 configuration. These will serve the Goa-Mangaluru-Dharmasthala route via Karwar, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar, Kundapura, and Udupi. Another planned route is Goa-Hospete-Hampi, covering Ponda, Anmod, Hubballi, Gadag, and Koppal.
Passengers can book tickets online through KTCL’s official website and redBus, while offline bookings are available at KTCL offices located at bus stands in Margao, Vasco, Panaji, Ponda, Marcel, Mapusa, and Sankhali. KTCL encourages travelers to utilize these new services for a more comfortable and hassle-free interstate travel experience.
