PONDA: Heated discussions prevailed at Kundaim Gramsabha, with locals passing a resolution opposing the construction of Chitrapur Mutt in Kundaim Panchayat jurisdiction.
The locals passed a resolution demanding to revoke all the permission granted to Chitrapur Mutt.
Locals said the permissions granted are for farmhouses while the Chitrapur Mutt started residential construction.
They have also dug bore wells, due to which locals will face water shortage to their bagayat.
They demanded Communidade land be protected and plots are given to locals.
The locals also demanded to protect Communidade land for future generations.
Acting Sarpanch Ramu Naik assured to look into the matter.
Earlier, there was chaos in Panchayat Gramsbaha The gram sabha member gave foul words to one citizen while making his point in Gramsaba.
Finally, Police took out the person from Gramsabha. and peace prevailed.
