The District Magistrate North has ordered the labour contractors from North Goa District to furnish the details of laborers working under their control to the local police station.
District Magistrate issued this order to prevent danger to the human life and to thwart and prevent illegal activities which will affect the security of the State that will create disturbance to public order & tranquility.
Any contractor, agency contravening the order will be held liable for punishment under Section 223 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
