MARGAO: In a shocking case, the dead body of a labourer was found near Margao Railway Station.
Police who reached the spot said that an investigation was underway and they suspected it to be a murder.
“We got a call that one person was murdered. During the investigation it was learned that there was a fight between two labourers during which one labourer murdered another labour with a knife,” said DySP Santosh Desai.
He further said that Margao police are actively searching for the suspect involved in the fatal stabbing of a labourer at the old Margao Railway station.
“There will be an arrested soon, formality is underway” he added.
