Panjim: The Startup and IT Promotion Cell, under the Department of Information, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C), Goa, has announced that registrations for the Goa Startup Accelerator Program will close on September 10, 2025. This is the final opportunity for startups based in Goa to apply for mentorship, investment opportunities, and structured support aimed at scaling their business.
The program, led by Hon’ble Minister Shri Rohan Khaunte, is designed to nurture and accelerate up to 30 startups selected through open applications and nominations by an expert panel comprising incubators, industry bodies, and stakeholders. Startups at the MVP stage (Minimum Viable Product) that are registered or operational in Goa are encouraged to apply and benefit from comprehensive mentorship, 1:1 clinics, real-time problem-solving, workshops, investment access, and a dedicated demo day featuring investors and industry experts.
Shri Kabir Shirgaonkar, Director of DITE&C, emphasized the transformative role of startups in Goa’s economy. “Goan startups are solving real-world problems while creating employment opportunities across the State. Through the Goa Startup Accelerator Program, we are committed to supporting high-potential startups by facilitating access to industry expertise and investment networks. After a rigorous selection process, the top 30 startups will be chosen to participate. We invite innovative startups to apply and contribute to Goa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem,” he said.
Launched in July 2025, the accelerator program is now entering its final phase of applications. Startups looking to scale rapidly and gain expert guidance are encouraged to submit their applications by filling out the form at https://forms.gle/XQEBLpmw28o2bT4F6.
