Mapusa: A day after blaming late Manohar Parrikar for Goa Miles Saga, Minister for Waste Management has once again hit out at the departed soul, saying the former Defence Minister was responsible for mining crisis.
As State fails to find solution to mining imbroglio over eight years after closure of the activity, Lobo today blamed ex CM late Manohar Parrikar for the crisis.
Lobo said that the Parrikar’s decision to close mining activities in 2012, was a wrong decision and as a result, State is not able to restart the iron ore activities.
He said that mining was livelihood to several thousand people, and closing down any business won’t serve purpose.
Lobo claimed that there are other BJP leaders, who will agree to his statement.
Yesterday Lobo said that Parrikar created a confusion called Goa Miles and lcoals are suffering because of that.
