PARRA: In a heartwarming display of community spirit and collaboration, the residents of Carasco Vaddo in Parra Village have witnessed a remarkable transformation in their living conditions.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of Dy Sarpanch Daniel Lobo and the support of local authorities, along with the dedicated participation of panch members and the residential community, the once dilapidated houses in this ward are now being given a new lease on life.
Asha and Sarita Gadekar, two sisters residing in Ward No. 2, had endured the hardships of living in a rundown house for years. However, their fortunes recently changed when their dreams of a safe and comfortable home became a reality. With the help of Calangute MLA Michael Lobo, Dy Sarpanch Daniel Lobo, and the collaborative efforts of the local community, the sisters’ house has been renovated, and its roof repaired at a total expenditure of 2 lakhs and 70 thousand rupees.
This successful renovation project has been expanded beyond just one house. Dy Sarpanch Daniel Lobo has taken the initiative to improve the living conditions of the entire community by building new roofs and enhancing ten houses, one after the other.
The ongoing project has brought hope and renewed optimism to the residents of Ward No. 2, demonstrating the positive impact that can be achieved when community members unite for a common cause.
