CANACONA: Congress leader Janardhan Bhandari and Goa Forward Party Environment Cell Chairman Vikas Bhagat are granted anticipatory bail in the incident of locking of PWD Engineers at Canacona.
According to reliable sources, after Canaocna police registered a FIR under section’s 342, 353, 451, 186 r/w 34 IPC against Bhandari, Bhagat and two others for criminal trespass, wrongfully confinement of the a PWD(Roads) Assistant Engineer in his cabin by putting lock and obstructing him while discharging his lawful duty, the police were on a look out for them.
The duo howerver moved Sessions Court, Margao for anticipatory bail and the court granted the anticipatory bail on Friday.
