CANACONA: Communidade of Loliem-Polem, in a landmark gathering has approved and passed six resolutions with overwhelming majority to allot it’s land portions/plots in the village to set-up a Sainik School, a Cricket Stadium, a Solar Power Plant, GTDC Wayside Tourist Amenities, Communidade own Office-cum-Commercial Complex and agreeing to a Joint Survey of Agro-based company’s 8 allotted plots in Extraordinary General Body Meeting on Sunday.
The meeting was held in the Sabhamandap of Shri Keshav Devalaya, Loliem with an overwhelming majority of 38 out of 39 members present rallied behind the visionary resolutions brought in by the leadership.
‘The meeting decisively passed six groundbreaking resolutions that will redefine the future of land use in Loliem-Polem and benefit the local community and the state of Goa’, stated Loliem-Polem Communidade President Vishwajeet Warik in a press statement..

The prestigious Sainik School project, courtesy of Vadenagar Shikshan Sevastopol Mandal, poised to empower the youth of Goa, A State-of-the-art Cricket Ground and Stadium, forged in collaboration with the Goa Cricket Association, promising to nurture sporting talent and unite the community, A revolutionary 100-150 MW Solar Power Plant, capable of illuminating the entire Canacona Taluka, with priority given to government agencies – a beacon of sustainability, A World-class Wayside Amenities for tourists, courtesy of GTDC, set to elevate the tourist experience and boost local economy, A majestic Office Complex for Communidade of Loliem Polem, symbolizing the community’s commitment to progress and good governance and A joint survey of plots allocated to Mallikarjun Multifruit Processing Producer Company Ltd., paving the way for industrial growth and employment opportunities for Canconcars and market for their produce.
As for a lone dissenting voice, Warik termed him a habitual opponent with vested interests, informing further that the lone dissenting voice was decisively overpowered by the collective wisdom of the community.
