Panaji: Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao raised alarm over the widespread accumulation of dry and wet waste across Goa, highlighting its presence along roads, beaches, agricultural fields, bypasses, and various public spaces.
Raising the issue in the Assembly, Alemao expressed concern over the environmental and health hazards posed by uncollected garbage and called for urgent government intervention. He stressed that the situation was worsening in both rural and urban areas, impacting tourism and public well-being.
