Maargao police solve Murder case solved in 3 hr
Margao police on Sunday solved a murder case within three hours after a man stabbed his friend to death over a loan of 1000 Rupees.
Police said they have arrested scrap collector Yellappa Karbal n/o Karnataka for murdering his fellow labourer Kumar for not repaying his borrowed money.
Police have informed that the accused stabbed Kumar after they got into a quarrel. Victim has later succumbed to his injuries.
The accused then fled from the spot and was trying to flee the city.
A team led by PI Margao Town Sachin Narvekar traced and arrested the accused within 3 hrs.
