VASCO: The entire Vasco city and its suburbs will witness a major power shutdown on 26th May for over 7 hours between 8.30 am to 4 pm on account of maintenance works on 33/11 KV Kadamba Substation yard feeders
According to the information from a notice issued by The office of the Sub divisional engineer , Electricity department , the works of maintenance will be carried out on 6 feeders
” The maintenance works on 11 KV city feeder will affect power supply to parts of Vasco city from St Andrews College to Railway circle .The maintenance works on 11 KV Church feeder will affect power supply to parts of Vasco city , Vollant, Mundvel , Maimolem, Kharewada , Pixem Dongri , Non Mon & Mangor Hill upto Aristrocrat Cross. The maintenance works on 11 KV Airport feeder will affect power supply to Anand Residency DTC, Jain Mandir DTC, Anand Arcade DTC , Area near Joggers park Chicalim, area near Cottage Hospital , Mogubai estate ,Near BSNL Tower , Alto Chicalim and GSL colony Chicalim . The maintenance works on 11 KV New Vaddem feeder will affect power supply to entire New Vaddem and Shantinagar.
The maintenance works on 11 KV Vaddem lake feeder will affect power supply to Vaddem, Merces Vaddem ,Chafferan and parts of Chicalim . The maintenance works on 33 KV Goa Shipyard Limited ( GSL ) feeder will affect power supply to the entire GSL company . The major power shutdown is scheduled on 26th May and power supply will be affected to the above area between 8.30 am and 4 pm ” said the notice
