PANJIM: In a major reshuffle in the police department, as many as 19 police inspectors have been transferred to new posting.
Crime Branch PI Jivba Dalvi will now hold charge of Pernem police station while Traffic Cell PI Brendon D’Souza is transferred to the Traffic Cell in Calangute.
PIs Anant Gaonkar and Laxi Amonkar are posted to Crime branch, Sanjay Dalvi to Anti Corruption Branch/Vigilance, Suraj Halarnkar to Anti Narcotics Cell.

Sudesh Velip is transferred t0 Traffic Cell in Bicholim, Deepak Pednekar to Quepem police station, Mahesh Gadekar to Bicholim PS and Vijay Sardessai is given the charge of Agassaim PS.
Hiru Kavlekar is posted to Konkan Railway PS, Sherif Jaques to Verna PS, Mohan Gaude to Ponda PS, Gautam Salunke is posted to Traffic Cell, Margao; Suraj Samant to Special Branch, Rajesh Job to Police Training School in Valpoi, Vijaynath Kavlekar to Traffic Cell COlva and Tulsidas Naik to South Goa District as Readers Incharge.
