BICHOLIM: A property dispute between two brothers in Bandarwada, Bicholim turned violent on Monday, leaving one injured.
According to police, Amanulla Khan (57), a resident of Bandarwada, Bicholim, lodged a complaint stating that at around 11:45 a.m. on October 6, 2025, his younger brother Neyamoddula Khan Pathan confronted him over an undivided property dispute at survey No. 33/8, Bandarwada.
The accused allegedly went to a labour camp on the property and threatened the workers with dire consequences if they did not vacate the premises. When the complainant intervened, the accused reportedly assaulted him with fist blows on his face, neck, and back, resulting in a fracture injury to his face.
Police said that further investigation is in progress.
